2019年中国民航年运送旅客超过6.6亿人次,按照人均2.5小时计算,全年有近16.5亿小时的机上时间,且多是高端用户。结合国家利好政策牵引,91%的航司正在聚焦为旅客提供机上无线网络服务,目前中国已经有19家航空公司506架飞机为855万旅客提供了客舱的WIFI服务,开通机上网络服务的飞机占我国民航运输飞机的13.7%左右。
近年来,空地互联发展备受关注。民用航空局颁布政策开放使用手机,国务院常务会议上要求加快"推动飞机上互联网业务",特别是在后疫情时代,航空公司和乘客对于航空互联网需求更加迫切。在政策和市场双重驱动下,空地互联产业发展驶进快车道。在航空互联网产业图谱中,空地互联技术路径的选择是至关重要的。随着5G时代的到来,中国空中互联基础建设工作如火如荼地开展起来,无论是卫星互联网,还是ATG都在全力提速,加快打造一张可解决立体覆盖的宽带互联网,满足飞机空中接入互联网的需求。长远来看,卫星方案和5G ATG地面基站方案的多元化发展,必将是未来航空互联网的发展趋势。
In 2019, China's civil aviation carried more than 660 million passengers annually. Based on an average of 2.5 hours per person, there were nearly 1.65 billion hours of in-flight time in 2019, and most of them were high-end users. Combined with the government's favorable policies, 91% of airlines are focusing on providing in-flight wireless network services to passengers. Currently, there are 506 aircrafts from 19 airlines offered 8.55 million passenger cabin WIFI services, accounting for about 13.7% of China's civil aviation carriers.
In recent years, the development of IFEC has attracted much attention. CAAC has issued policy to open the use of mobile phones, and the executive meeting of the State Council called for speeding up the "promotion of in-flight internet business". Especially in the post-epidemic era, airlines and passengers have more urgent needs for in-flight internet. Drived by both policy and market, the development of IFEC has entered a fast lane. In the in-flight Internet industry map, the choice of interconnection technology path is very important. With the arrival of the 5G era, China's in-flight connectivity infrastructure is being carried out like a raging fire. Both satellite internet and ATG are speeding up to build a broadband Internet that can solve the three-dimensional coverage and meet the demand of aircraft to access the Internet in the air. In the long run, the diversified development of satellite programs and 5G ATG ground base station programs will definitely be the development trend of in-flight internet in the future.
