2022年《中国民用航空市场展望》中预测数据,尽管近期受到疫情影响,中国航空旅行和航空货运的需求在未来20年中将持续增长,约3900架的民航机队规模到2041年将增长到9600架以上。中国在未来20年将需要价值1.5万亿美元的8485架新飞机来服务乘客出行和贸易发展,该需求占到了同期全球飞机交付量的五分之一以上。

当前,成都航空航天产业总规模已突破800亿元,基本形成了航空、航天制造产业链。
《成都市航空产业发展规划(2020—2025年)》明确指出,将构建以青羊总部经济功能区为核心,以新都现代交通产业功能区为新增长极,以高新航空经济区、双流航空经济区、淮州新城等为多点的"一核、一极、多点"总体布局结构,加快形成"特色鲜明、重点突出、多点协作"的航空产业空间格局。
在此背景下,本届论坛选择在全国知名航空产业重镇成都市召开,具有重要的实践意义和现实需求,肩负着打造国家航空动力港的战略意义。论坛旨在面对当前严峻的国际形势和"十四五"规划及2035愿景目标的发展挑战,动员行业内各方力量协同合作,抓住机遇,共同推动中国民用航空事业快速发展。

The overall layout structure of "one core, one pole and multiple points" will accelerate the formation of a spatial pattern of aviation industry with distinctive features, prominent focus and multiple points of collaboration.
