Researcher fellow, deputy chief designer of C919 trunk liner working at COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute (COMAC SADRI). He was appointed as deputy chief designer of China Helicopter Design and Research Institute, executive deputy chief designer of National High-tech Engineering Type, chief designer of Key Engineering Type and etc., responsible for organizing and completing the integrated R&D of several types of avionics systems. In 2008, he joined COMAC SADRI, organized the design and integrated R&D of C919 avionics systems, it has achieved many breakthroughs in the field of Avionics Integration for China domestic large civil aircraft. Since 2008, MU Ming has actively participated in the pre-research of the key technologies for C919 avionics system development. He was also responsible for multiple pre-search program and has won more than 10 Science and Technology Progress Awards and published more than 20 articles. Since 2019, he has been responsible for the research work of AVICAS Generic Technology Center. He has multiple engineering experiences and expertise in airborne system development, verification, validation and certification.

As former President of the Air Navigation Commission (ANC) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) he was responsible for developing Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) in the field of Air Navigation and Safety.
Prior to his posting at ICAO, Mr. SCHLEIFER was in charge of Aircraft and Equipment Certification, Airworthiness and Operational Requirements at the Austrian Civil Aviation Authority.
In this role, Christian SCHLEIFER was a specialized Certification and Flight Test Engineer for Avionics, Electrics and Human-Machine interface. After his return from ICAO, he was involved in the strategic development of the ANS side of Austro Control, contributing to the European and Global Air Navigation modernization programs.
Christian has a background in Electronic Engineering and Economics and is also holding an Avionic Maintenance License (AML) as well as a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and actively flies single and multi-engine aircraft.

CAI Yong is the C919 Software and AEH certification team leader and Co-Chair of CAAC’s Software Certification Policy Team. After he got his Master degree of Computer Science in Fudan University, China, Mr. CAI worked as software engineer for Honeywell aerospace and CAAC for 15 years. He set up CAAC’s first software certification team and trained all current CAAC’s Software/AEH DERs. The Standard Operating Procedures of Software Certification he developed allowed the C919 project to reach a uniform level of methodology and standards for nearly 100 software review projects, which servers Type and System Certification jobs better than traditional isolated review activities and improve the certification efficiency. The book he wrote in 2013 systematically introduces software certification standards to Chinese industrial. Other than Software and AEH, CAI Yong is the responsible engineer of CAAC in IMA and Cyber Security Airworthiness Certification. He has received many honors including Honeywell Technical Invention Award and Shanghai May 1 Labour Medal.

CPC Member. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Beijing University of Technology and Master's degree in Telecommunication from The University of New South Wales. He used to be the project manager of China Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology, carried out the QACVR airworthiness certification, and completed the CTSO certification work of QACVR. Now he is working in Airworthiness Certification Center, CAAC, specialized in software and hardware certification.
